Finding Us

Travel from the South-West and / or from the West

You are travelling from the SOUTH-WEST and are driving on the A1 motorway (Osnabrück - Bremen - Hamburg) and/or you are travelling from the WEST and are driving on the A 30 motorway (Hengelo - Rheine - Osnabrück):

• cross the Autobahnkreuz Lotte / Osnabrück northwards (towards Bremen) and continue until exit 68 Bramsche (17 km);
• then turn right onto the B 218 (towards Minden) and continue eastwards along the Mittelland-canal (after 6 km you will pass the Roman open-air museum “Kalkriese” – Varus battle) until after Herringhausen you reach a large crossroads with traffic lights (18.5 km);
• here, turn left onto the B 51 (towards Diepholz) and drive (across the Mittelland-canal) to the turn-off for Bohmte (3 km);
• here, turn right and drive through Bohmte until you reach a pedestrian crossing opposite a church (2 km);
• here, turn right onto the L 770 (towards Espelkamp) and follow the road, until after 200 m you reach the turn-off for Rahden, soon after a large forested area (21 km);
• here, turn left onto the K 58 “Fabbenstedter Straße” (towards Rahden) and follow the road (after 2 km you will pass the companies “Holz-Hassfeld” and “Kolbus”) until, after 500 m, you can see the bus stop “Lindenschänke” on your right (3 km);
• immediately after the bus stop, turn right into the “Sudriede” and keep driving straight on, until you see the “Hotel & Restaurant Bohne” on the left at the end of the street (1 km);
• now, turn left onto the L 765 “Lübbecker Straße” and drive towards the town centre, until you reach a tight S-bend;
• (attention!) immediately after the end of the bend turn right into the “Vordamm” and follow the lane, until you reach a cross-roads after a sharp left turn (700 m);
• here, turn right onto the L 765, the “Mindener Straße”, and drive over the level crossings. After a further 100 m, you will see a street to your left;
• turn left into this street, the “Auf der Welle” (follow the white sign “Heinrich Räker”) and drive on a further 200 m, until you see an housing estate on the right hand side;
• turn right here into the “Stellerloh” and follow the narrow lane for about 500 m through a birch avenue until you see the house (Nr. 65) on your right.
