The volume dedicated to Georg Kossack on the occasion of his 75th birthday contains a dedication from the editors and the English translation of ten important articles of the honoured that were published between 1974 and 1997. Of these, three deal with topics of the Bronze Age, four with the Iron Age, and one with the Roman Iron Age/Early Middle Ages, while two are more general cultural historic studies on settlement archaeology.
